Mugene is a project that uses genetic programming techniques to develop music. It can be found at http://www.herbsusmann.com/mugene

People provide the selection pressure by going to the web site, where they are presented with two songs. You then choose the one that you like better. The songs that people generally like survive, passing on their genes. Those that people don't like are not allowed to reproduce.
